Hey friends,
We’ve made it home from tour. I have to say, despite being sick, this was by far the most successful tour that I’ve ever been a part of. Thanks to everyone that made it possible. We’re playing one show in August and then will be heading South in September. The dates are below. If you can help with a show, please send us an e-mail.

“How I’m Not Feeling”
Yesterday I picked up copies of our new 7″. It looks really sharp. A huge thank you goes out to Daniel at Kat Kat Records for making all of this happen. We have about sixty copies for our upcoming tour. I tried to get a good mix of all of the colors. If you can’t make it out to a show, you can order a copy for $6PPD from Kat Kat Records.
Hungry for summer fun
Last weekend we played two really fun shows. We can’t thank everyone enough for coming out and watching us. We’re now taking a little bit of a break. We’re tentatively scheduled to play a show in Brooklyn on June 18th. Other than that show, we have nothing planned until we leave for our Midwest tour in July. From now until then, we will be working on our next release. With the way things are sounding, we should be playing/fine tuning three of these songs on the road this July. It’s pretty exciting to be writing again and we’re anxious to play them out. All of the finalized tour dates should be posted shortly. If all goes according to plan, we will be playing behind both of our upcoming 7″s in July.

A few weeks ago, we were part of the Jump Start Records Live series. We recorded a bunch of songs at the Jump Start office and answered a bunch of questions. Well, the songs have been mixed and mastered and are now available as a free download. The EP features five songs. These are the first electric recordings of a lot of the material from Tense. These are also the first songs with Alec playing bass. The artwork was drawn by our friend Colin Shawcross of The Anchor Boys. May should be a busy month for us. It looks like we will be playing five shows! I’ll update the tour dates page soon with information regarding all of these shows. Speaking of tour, we’ll be on the road for nine days this July. We’re excited to be playing some of our favorite cities with some good friends. We have been getting e-mails, messages, and having people come up to us at shows asking if we will have Tense available on vinyl for this tour. As far as I know, the answer is no. It’s a huge bummer for all of us. We will be touring behind our new 7″ “How I’m Not Feeling” that is being released on Kat Kat Records as well as our split 7″ with Hanalei that is coming out on Jump Start Records.

Kat Kat Records launched the pre-order for our new 7″, “How I’m Not Feeling”, last night. The first pressing will be out of 300. 225 mixed color vinyl and 75 black vinyl. Each pre-order will come with a button, poster, and digital download of the album. We’re extremely excited about this release and we’re happy to share it with you. Hey Everyone,
I’ve been slacking on updating this website. We have some great things coming up and I thought it was about time to share this information with you. First, we will be opening for The Smoking Popes, in Philadelphia, on Saturday, May 7th. We are all beyond thrilled to be a part of this show and hope that you will come out and enjoy the show with us. We will have tickets for sale shortly. You can also order them from the North Star Bar. www.northstarbar.com for more information. It’s an all ages show and doors are at 4:00PM. We play first, so get there early. Second, about a week ago, we recorded a podcast at Jump Start Records. We performed seven songs and ranted with Jeremy about a plethora of terrible topics. Occasionally, we provide important information about our upcoming tour and releases. The set will be available soon as part of the Jump Start Records Live series. If you’re not familiar with that, read up. Free music from great bands such as Crucial Dudes, The Holy Mess, Off With Their Heads, and PJ Bond. Each release includes original artwork by our friend Colin. When our set goes up for download, I’ll let you know. We will be making stops in PA,OH,MI, and IL. The dates are listed on our tour page. More detailed information will be posted shortly. Artwork is nearly complete and the songs have been sent off to the lacquer plant. We expect to announce a pre-order soon. Our split with Hanalei is starting to move along as well. Artwork as begun and the mastering/pressing will begin when everyone at Jump Start returns from vacation. Cool?
